Scuff Turf™
Avoid your turf wearing out

'New Content'

Scuff Turf™ is the answer you have been looking for if you have issues with turf wear due to high traffic. This innovative new product is turf pre-grown with a specialised semi rigid reinforced mesh that protects your lawn from high traffic and dogs.

In the past, plastic turf reinforcement had to be placed over the turf, pegged in and lightly top dressed. Laying the mesh under the turf did not provide enough wear protection. Now, Scuff Turf™ has made it so much easier, simply lay it like normal turf and it is done. The Scuff Turf™ grower has done all the work for you.

Scuff Turf™ has high wear resistance, protects the ground from becoming compacted and stops the grass stolons, leaves and roots from being worn out.

And, in case you were wondering, the grass is still soft, the lawn covers the Scuff Turf™, so all dogs, children or yourself will feel is a beautiful soft lawn.

Scuff Turf™ is excellent for...
* Light vehicle traffic
* Heavy pedestrian traffic
* Dog wear and tear
* Front yards
* Nature strips
* Golf courses and other sporting facilities
* Council parks
* Erosion control

At this stage, Scuff Turf™ is only available in Kenda® Kikuyu, with plans to release it in Sapphire® Buffalo in the future, and further down the track other turf varieties. Currently it is only available in NSW and Victoria, but there are plans to have growers in other states in the future.

Lawn Care Facts
Lawn Fact:
A waxy coating on the grains of soil is responsible for the water repelling effect that is often seen in soils, resulting in poor lawn or plant health. In a similar manner to detergents, Wetting Agents will break down this waxy coating, allowing for easier water absorption and retention. Wetting Agents should be included as a normal part of the maintenance routine of every lawn and applied at least twice a year.
