Guidelines for Free Advertising

Franchised Businesses Are Welcome

We ask these businesses to follow these guidelines for their advertising:

• The individual Franchisee is welcome to advertise in Free Advertising.
• Ads must not be listed under the name of the Franchise, and must be listed under the trading name of the Franchisee (eg. Jim's Mowing is not allowed, but if the trading name of the Franchisee is Jim's Mowing Clarkson, this is allowed.
• Individual Franchisees must only list the suburbs that they themselves service.

Use of Logo

Franchisees who take out Free Advertising are welcome to use the Logo of the Franchise in their advertisement, providing they are legally allowed to do so by their franchisor

Franchisors and Advertising

The Franchisor may not take out, manage, or own any advertisements on behalf of it's Franchisees.

The Franchisor may not advertise in the Find A Contractor Directory under any circumstances, or for any purpose.

Guaranteeing Fair Use For All

Any abuse or manipulation of these guidelines or the spirit of these guidelines, which may result in a perception of unfairness toward other advertisers, or an increased and unnatural unfair advantage toward a Franchise, will not be tolerated.
